The club's 40th anniversary saw its annual open obedience show held in West Park on 29th July 2001. Following on from an understandable lack of events with the F&M crisis there was a large entry for the show. All together we were blessed with good numbers, fantastic weather and a field visit from the Kennel Club as well ! This was also the last year with the venue in its current surroundings, by next year we should be in the shadow of Hull's new Super Stadium which should be interesting.
