14th May 2000 - a team of six dogs and handlers took part in an 'inter-club' competition between 3 local clubs as part of a fun day organised by the local dog wardens in East Park, Hull. After a good humoured competition with the emphasis on fun and culminating in a run off to decide a tie break, our club won and took the trophy for this year.
There were lots of other activities organised through the day including a dog show which was well attended and helped make the overall day a success thus hopefully ensuring there will be a further event next year.
The wardens also ran tests for the bronze and silver levels of the Good Citizen Scheme and 4 club members put 6 dogs through at different levels and passed which was more good news for us for the day.
